Yours, forever.
It works right out of the box.
And it keeps working, whatever happens to us.
As of September 3rd, 2026, we, the founders of FlightPortrait (YODE Pte Ltd), pledge that if we ever close the company, we will release the source code of the app and server, and license the artwork to every owner, so their frame keeps drawing.
Audrey and Yoann, our unbrickable pledge
Questions.
How does it know which planes are over my home?
You give the app a rough location when you set the frame up. Our receiver network reports the aircraft around it, and the frame draws them.
Does it need to be plugged in?
No. A few portraits a day last months on the 10,000mAh battery. A new portrait every 5 minutes needs the USB-C cable.
When will it ship?
Reservations placed now ship in the first half of 2027. Your deposit is fully refundable until then.
Where do you ship?
We deliver worldwide. Shipping costs, if any, are confirmed before we collect the balance, and you can cancel for a full refund if you do not accept them.
Is there a subscription?
No. There is nothing to pay after the frame.
What happens if FlightPortrait closes?
We release the source code of the app and server, and license the artwork to every owner, so the frame keeps drawing. The firmware is already open source.
What Wi-Fi does it need?
2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Bluetooth is only used during setup.
