FlightPortrait Reserve yours

From the sky
to your home.

An e-ink frame that turns the planes flying over your home into art.

How it works.

  1. The app's Sky screen: your home at the centre of a
compass, the aircraft crossing overhead, and each one
listed with its airline, heading and altitude.

Pin your home in the app.

  2. Today's drawing in the app: four aircraft with their
airline, type and altitude, the date it was made, and
                    the day's quote.

    We draw what flies over.

  3. The finished drawing hanging in a framed FlightPortrait
                    on a wall.

    It appears on your wall.

No cables, just art.

It runs for months on a charge, so there is no cable to hide. Hang it like any other frame.

                running to it.

It looks like a real print.

E-ink gives off no light. On the wall it reads as paper.

  • No backlight
  • No glare
  • No blue light

Yours, forever.

No subscriptions. The firmware is open source and the frame cannot be bricked: point it at your own server and tinker.

The frame only ever talks outward. Nobody reaches into your home network through it, us included.

How it works

Every plane you have ever seen.

The wall shows today. The app keeps the rest. Each aircraft that crosses your sky joins your Hangar by its tail number.

The Hangar in the app: a grid of aircraft the frame has
seen, each with its registration and type.

A work of passion.

We are Audrey and Yoann, makers living in Singapore. FlightPortrait is our idea of aviation art: something tasteful you can hang in the living room, that changes with what flies over.

Fair questions.

How much?
US$499. No subscriptions, no hidden costs. You reserve it with a US$100 deposit, refundable anytime, and pay the rest when your frame enters production.
When?
The First Flight sold out and ships to its 500 reservation holders in Q4 2026. Reservations placed now deliver in the first half of 2027. When you reserve your FlightPortrait, you'll have direct DM access to us, and we'll keep you up to date on the production schedule.
What about my data?
The frame only needs a rough location to know what crosses your sky, and we round it before we store it. That and your email is about all we hold. We never sell your data. Learn how it works.
How big is it?
The frame is 30 by 40 cm, give or take 2 cm while we finalize the design. The display is 13.3 inches (20.3 by 27 cm).
How often do you need to charge it?
Every few months. The final figure depends on how often it refreshes, and our measurements point to a few charges a year.
What if we get out of business?
The frame keeps working: the protocol is Open Source and you can connect it to your own server. We made this commitment so you truly own it.
