We do not store your IP address. It is used to keep the connection open and discarded when the connection closes. We do not ask for your name, email, or address. There are no accounts.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. Aircraft photos are loaded from planespotters.net and map tiles from OpenFreemap directly by your browser, under their own privacy policies.
Your exact antenna position is never made public.
If you use our Station software, its setup page runs in your browser on your own network. It requests map tiles from OpenFreemap, address search from Nominatim, ground elevation from Open-Meteo, and a rough starting position from ipwho.is. None of this data is sent to us.
A Station flashed from our SD card image, until it is set up, tells us its address on your home network (like 192.168.1.23) and its name, once a minute, so that the join page, opened on a phone on the same Wi-Fi, can link to its setup page. We match the two by your home's public IP address. This is held in memory for ten minutes, under a scrambled form of that IP address, and never written down; it stops once the Station is set up.
The Am I feeding page compares your public IP address with the stations connected right now. It happens in memory, under a scrambled form of the address, and nothing is written down.
Email [email protected] with your station key and we will delete your station's history. Aircraft data already published under ODbL cannot be recalled.
